News from July 17.
Washington signed Darius Songaila to a 5 year, $23 million contract with
the 5th year at the player's option.
Charlotte named Fred Whitfield as president.
Boston signed Paul Pierce to a 3 year, $59 million contract extension.
Pierce is now signed through 10-11.
Portland re-signed Joel Przybilla to a 5 year, $32 million contract.
Orlando free agent Mario Kasun signed a 3 year contract with Winterthur FC
