#1: Why wouldn't everyone buy this?

Seriously...why not? Is it expensive? Sure, maybe a little...but I get TWO
laptops for the price of one. Couldn't you split the price and consider it a
laptop of each?

Comes with a 120 G HD which I could easily split into two 60G partitions.
One for Windows and one for Mac.

I'm tempted....very tempted...

Look at the regular MacBook line. Over half the price of the MacBook
Pro, even with Windows XP (Home or Pro) pre-installed. Least expensive
one is $1,044. Just remember that the MacBook is intended to be the
iBook replacement while the MacBook Pro is intended to be the PowerBook
replacement.

Yeah, but the macbook's screen and resolution suck ass. I like that 15" Mac
Book Pro, or the 17". I like the video capabilities of the Pro, which comes
with onboard firewire 800.

This is the year I'll start doing home HD. I'll get an HD camcorder by the
end of the year, and by that time, media will be available to burn movies
to, so in order to edit it, you'll NEED a Firewire 800. Nothing else would
have the pipe (that I'm aware of, at least).

I *really* like the 17" screen too...

I'm over video ram. That's so 2003. Now, all I care about is, "can it at
least run a 720p WMV or Quicktime?" If so, then I don't give a shit about
anything else. Gaming, whatnot. So 256 megs of video Ram is fine. I don't
think I'd care about anything more, to be honest. So the Video Ram and video
card shit don't really matter to me.

I'm just sold on the whole, "it's about an inch thick and runs both
operating systems" and there are people running up to four OSes on them now.
So if I wanted to throw Linux on there as well, I could run Unix, Linux,
WinXP Pro, and all on one machine that I could carry with me.

That seems *really* cool...
