Cost less than we got for Jimmy as well, who, I notice, was a bit shit
when Fulham got beat by the mighty Exeter at the weekend.

I only laughed a bit.

Without being patronising to Exeter though that was their Wembley
against Fulham. That was their biggest game ever, against a bigger club
and against all of the odds 'n shit. Bless. It just goes to show the
romance of the pre-season friendly is still alive when you have little
tiny teams like Exeter forget their station and are willing to play
their footballing betters like Fulham. There, that wasn't too
patronising, was it.

No. A friendly against Fulham is obviously far more important to Exeter
than an FA Cup tie against Man Utd.

I think Paul Jewell has got himself a bargain. Landzaat is the same sort
of quality as Muhren and Thijssen, for those who remember that far back.
He impressed me in European matches last season, and in his short
playing time in the World Cup.

Didn't Exeter get a 0-0 at Old Trafford in the Football Association Cup a
couple of seasons ago. That was probably their biggest game ever'n'shit.
Anyways I heard there was a dog at John Cravens Cottage. It wasn't very
good.

Is John Cravens Cottage a zoo?

I heard about the fixture, but just assumed Exeter would br too 'fraidy
to leave the dressing room and make total arses of themselves. They're
a microscopic team afterall. They even used their town's name to put
*them* on the map FFS.

John Craven's been cottaging in a zoo? Whoa, no wonder they didn't
mention in on Newsround.

Yeah, apparently he was caught in there with Frank Bough and Ben Nunn.
