#1: shoulder swings

Posted on 2006-07-11 23:22:55 by shore29

i've been plaing 2 years and can't get consistent. usually i shoot in the
low 50s but sometimes hi 50s and even lo 60s. been reading that a simple
swing is using the shoulder. address ball, drop left shoulder, pull left
shoulder up. probably oversimplifying but is this what i should practice to
become more consistent? i hate it when i top the ball or slam the club into
the ground. to see my current swing see the mpg at www.anybodycangolf.com.

Barry, your 10 commandments seem to have worked!!! . You are passing on
all your major swing faults to your wife and kiddy. All this dip the
hip stuff is killing your swing as is trying to think of 10 different
things during a swing, which is quite impossible. All three of you need
to develop a firmer braced left side to hit against instead of
collapsing as you do, but dont take my advice and add to your list of
commandments of woe.You need to invest in some professional lessons,
learn the fundamental basics of a good grip and address position and
simple swing ,which none of you yet have. Without this, frustration at
achieving no tangible improvement will soon outstrip the pleasure of
hacking round and occasionaly catching one nicely that you experience as
a beginner.
