Everything that could go wrong, went wrong today.

1. Me iron broke
2. Me car didn't start
3. Me wallet was empty
4. Me was late to clerk training for pollworker duties this Sept
4. Me couldn't walk because it was pouring outside

Sucks to be me.

Tell us about a lifetime without a relationship, unending heartbreaking
rejection, and tearful nights of bloody self-mutilation, then get back to us
on the me-suckiness thing.

Well, of course, my pitiful cotidian little hiccups cannot possibly
compete with your lifetime of existential woes, Ben.

I mean, though I have spent most of today is dumpsville, I know that
tomorrow will be another fabulous day of riches, intelligence, beauty
and youth -- in no special order.

And there's your life, sad, dreary, impossibly self-tortured, perhaps
even somewhat callow, in its self-obsessive melancholia.

Still, beats being a Hottentot, or Scot, wouldn't you say?

Bloody self-mutilation using a buttplug takes a special kind of skill.

Nothing unknown in the Conlan/Holmes menage, to be sure.
