Minnows Real Madrid put in a marvellous effort to overcome an under par Plymouth
team. The usual flowing attacks of PA were not in evidence as underdogs RM put up
stout resistance. On the 75th minute RM got their reward for their hard work when
Julio Baptista converted a penalty after a clear Lilian Nalis handball. All in all
a memorable result for an up-and-coming Real Madrid team who showed they are able
to live with the best.

Final result: Plymouth Argyle 0 - Real Madrid 1
