Pains me to agree with you, but yes. If the US didn't support Israel and
provide them with top quality weaponry, Israel would be swarmed by a half
billion angry Arabs and would be no more.

Doubt it. It isn't in the movie, but Israel is a short kid that everyone
picked on all the time, until he learned how to defend himself and then went
after the bullies that made his life a living hell and beat on them so bad
they had to go to the hospital. The bullies asked their older brothers to
help and the short kid kicked their ass too. And he will keep on kicking
ass until so one kills him.
