Don't get me wrong, I like Mike. I know he is a showboat and trying to
boost ratings for the IPT and himself. But he shot terrible for someone
who bragged about teaching 8 ball and him being a pro. I also
understand that ball selection/pattern CAN be a personal choice, but I
only remember him shooting one safety. Granted when he got to the table
in the first match he didn't have much, but that is when you think
safety, he didn't think hard enough.
I even saw Efren make one or two Novice 8 ball mistakes which took away
2 options he could have had.
Again, I couldn't beat either of these guys because they are great
shooters and make the hard shots. But I have to call them the way I see
them.

I think Efren's abilities are so much higher that he sees and goes for
runnouts we wouldn't even consider. A guy like him doesn't care about safes.
He knows he can runnout anything.

Mere moments before death, Dan White hastily scrawled:

That's funny, because when I first read about this (I'm unable to
watch, no OLN here), I thought Sigel was probably thinking the same
thing about Efren. He was probably playing too aggressively because
he felt he couldn't safe Efren.

Surely you guys don't seriously think that? ANYONE can be safed, anyone.
Hell, even leaving a bloke a kick is better than selling out, every time.
I find it more feasible that they agreed to split the prize money before
hand and just went out and fired away, all guns blazing to make it
"exciting" for un-educated viewers.
