It's just a bridge head (rest)... he is selling the stick for it
seperately...
It's pretty interesting- but not very vesatile. Shooting over a ball is
about it's only purpose... You'd have to tilt the bridge-stick up to far
to play draw on a stretch-shot.

All I can say is... if you're bending over and the doctor takes out one
of these, grit your teeth and think pleasant thoughts...
Ouch.

it looks like a "hands off" bridge thingy.
see the hole in the "U" shaped part?
it looks like the cue goes through it, and rests in the
V at the end of "swans neck" part.

It looks like to me a separate shaft would be inserted into the hole at the top
of the arch. Then your cue would simply lay across the top of the small v. It
would work just like any other bridge made for shooting over the top of another
ball.

In my experience, if you ever need one, you might as well concede a foul
first up.
I've never managed to play a good shot using one!

that makes sense.
I'm sure I saw one of those things in a kit, with a rubber chicken,
scented love oil, and some latex thingies I couldn't figure out.
whoda thunk it involved pool?

David, it is simply a bridge. It is quite impractical and rarely used anymore.
The spider bridge and extended spider bridge are used instead. It was
originally designed to be able to reach out OVER a cluster of balls to hit your
cueball. Hope this Freds. :o) Sincerely, Sam
