I though Fava at lock added stability to the scrum , well he could pick the
ball up when going backwards :-)
But really we have to wait for two weeks to get the answer

Fava's experience at the back of the scrum was useful, but it was mainly
his work at the breakdown, assisting Smith which caught the eye.
For a long time I've regard Fava as a super 14 level player and not really
good enough to be a fully fledged test player, BUT I must say he is one of
those players who just keeps improving year after year. He'll have to do
for the moment, I think.
