did with the Force ?

In the scrums, yes I'll give you that (and by the ref a bit too), but not
all across the park. In a lot of areas the two teams were about even.

Probably the one where Aus had the edge in the lineouts and NZ couldn't
catch a kickoff to save themselves.
The only set piece supremacy the ABs had was the scrum.

While the kickoffs were a disaster, I would not say that the Skippies
had a lineout edge.

My impression was of cleaner ball for the Australians on their own
possession, and they were able to more effectively disrupt All Black throws.
About the only time they were under any pressure in the lineout was when
Elsom was in the bin.

There were remarkably few lineouts in the game. The ABs had 9, and won
them clenly enough (barring perhaps one that I can recall). While
Australia might have only been under pressure while Elsom was off, that
pressure led, directly or indirectly, to two tries. You can't give
them the upper hand under those circumstances.
Cheers

Did they have an edge in the lineouts? IIRC they pinched none of the AB
lineouts and the ABs pinched one of theirs leading to Mealamu's try.

Shit no. Even O'Young at the Force looked better than him with the same
outfit around him. Josh Holmes maybe in the future.
