Horrifically cold. 14-odd degrees C. I know some from colder climes might laugh, but that's cold round here.
Swirling, strong wind. We'll see plenty of early up and unders.
Lot of rain this week but its mostly holding off today. If it doesn't
rain in the game itself its unlikely to materially effect the game.
Great weather for a game really, except for the wind.

It has to be pretty close to the coldest day of the year. And with a solid
week of rain, it's going to be a real shit fight.
This could be enough to swing the game for England.

I know what you mean. I was watching the rugby in 17 degrees yesterday
and damn near died of exposure. Thank God the sun was shining.

Too right. That is standard June weather round these here parts.
Although we _are_ having a bit of a heatwave at last. 25 deg at 0944
this morning. People are lying where they fell.

Proof positive that Rick didn't grow up in the South Island of New Zealand.
(Aside: did he grow up anywhere?)
Andrew [in Wellington, where the thermometers don't stay in one place for
long enough to read the temperature]

Well I'm not sure about grow up but he's originally a Waimea lad from here
in Nelson, which can get cold when it wants to. Sometimes we even have a
dusting of snow on the Richmond Hills, can you imagine?

It's been 25 long years, Dumbford. I can barely remember scraping the
ice off the windscreen or rugby training on grass so frosty that it was
like running on frozen cornflakes.

No. I was born old. That's why I'm so wise.

Plus some of those numbers above 9 make you confused, right?

You weren't in Adelaide or Melbourne in the last month were you?
Had to come back to Godzone to warm up.

Well, it's bloody freezing up here in Townsville at the moment, the temp went down to 21 degrees
today. It was that cold at the beach that I had to put a shirt on.
