Either you are one of the very few "naturals" or
you are snowing us. Either way welcome to
the wacky world of RSG and golf as a whole.
If you aren't snowing us then I am sick. I wish
I had that talent. I bet that those you play
with just try and follow you around the
course. Trying to figure out how the heck
you do so well. ;-)
Keep at it. Enjoy the game and company.

A natural would use more clubs. Each club is designed for a different
purpose and distance. A natural could use a wedge. I find it easy after
15 months.

Paul David,
Yes, I see your point. But if she uses just
those clubs and does as well as she claims.
Just think if she is taught correctly to
use those other clubs what she might
be able to do?
Cool thought.
Be safe down there. Even 75 miles
north of New Orleans the storms still
got you all.

dear Draco
thankyou for your kind comments...people who have watched me play golf
have said I am a "natural" that i hit straight and to the
middle.....that I have a good swing....I am one who follows my intuition
with many things in life and a Keep It Simple person......but I am not
doing much lately..played 18 holes today and did not even make one
par.....but I am not going to give up as I know I have it in me....must
turn a deaf ear to some of the advice that comes my way.....I may be
seen as arrogant by a few but a lot of talk gets confused in my brain
and i just must do what "feels" right for me..I suspect that every
person has their own style....it was good to hear from you...and no I am
not snowing anyone.....telling it like it is....today the game was
off....need to go play my sweet 9 hole course where i tend to do much
better for a pick me up!!!!

gee, do you think I should be a carbon copy of you and how you play???
you called me a "natural" other people who have watched me play have
made the same comment...I did not say I was a natural...I simply stated
my progress with the game...I did not like using the wedge please do not
take that personally!!!!

Dear Paul David ...
why would you use the word "claim " in regard to what I have shared here
about my golfing...Makes me wonder if there are others here who tell big
fibs about their own golf....I did not do very well today at all...no
pars.....no birdies.....if I were making claims why would I tell you all
this about my poor game today? Not sure I like being called a big
fibber who is making claims!!! but I will hang around till I get to know
you all better....Right now it feels like a couple of men are trying to
keep this woman (me) in her place. Lots of Luck, guys!!!

Rizzo,
Good that you love this game of golf so well.
Being able to score pars and birdies is the
ambition of all golfers. Even the pro's. If
it happens, Great! If not, well then more
the reason to pratice on the course and
sharpen your skills.
Even with the clubs you are now using,
other clubs could even improve you game
more. Being able to hit the ball in a
high arc and drop it softly next to the
pin and watch it stick. That is cool.
Having it roll a little and drop into
the hole, better. But if you are having a
good time and finding your choice
of clubs working for you. Then who
are we to say that it is wrong? Not
me.
Keep playing and enjoying this wicked game.

Hey Draco
In that I am having fun with golf and enjoying my times on the course
and have made good progress according to myself and others then I will
continue with my 3 beloved clubs and as they say down south..."have
myself a real big time!!!" My opinion is that each golfer would have
their own style and I am a firm believer in being true to oneself
.....My golf game is played intuitively. Anything that complicates
things just goes over my head...I continue to Keep it very simple!!!
