It's a very American sentiment and a very "football" sentiment --
something which needs to change if football is ever going to advance.
This Cup set back world football at least 2-3 decades.

Ahhh... I thought your comment had been to deride my belief that the
game was deteriorating from what we saw in Germany, but now I see we
may not, at least on some parts, be so far apart.
