Okay, while I remain utterly unconvinced that he's the man to lead England
from the doldrums of mediocrity, he has already won me over a little by
announcing that the England team's Spouses, Lovers And Girlfriends, or
'SLAGS', will be banned from future tournaments.
In a statement which, in keeping with my usual manner of reporting such
things, I totally made up, he might very well have said something like this:
"These SLAGS are nothing but an unwholesome distraction, especially for
young Theo Walcott who still doesn't really know what all that stuff's
about. Most football players perform better in a state of sexual
frustration anyway, there was nothing more pitiful in this last World Cup
than seeing Frank Lampard, fresh jizz on his thigh, making one floppycocked
shot after another. He's never allowed sex just before Chelsea matches and
I think that made the difference".
Good on him.

I'm sorry Joe, but you've lost the plot. The very though of Frank
Lampard's dirty jizz landing on anything other than a spitroasted
nubile's tiny, yet sillicone enhanced baby feeders simply beggars
belief.

I'd have thought you of all people would know that where it lands and where
