So a manager had to pull a player that was underperforming and
embarrassing himself on the field. Big deal, you're all professionals
and grown men. You don't need to cry over it. If anything, crying made
it even more embarrassing for LeCroy. Even LeCroy said, "I'm man enough
to take it. I don't think he should get that emotional about it. He's
doing his job, just like I would do if I was in his position."

No he is not Dick Vermeil, he is Frank Robinson. And another difference is
that you are NOT in his position.

I'd rather have him shed a few tears than go into an emotional tirade
and start trashing things.

Maybe he over-reacted...maybe it was because he sees his job's on the
line because his management won't get him decent players...in any event
I hope he continues as coach for a long time to come.
