Sounds like you've had a couple of VBs too so without further ado - the Woes lost 16-14 in a
nailbiter, the canes put a penalty over from 50 metres with 9 mins to spare. The lack of Wendell
Sailor reflected a distinct lack of white line fever within the team.

Didn't see that stats, but the Hurricanes appeared to have the ball most of
the time. Strong defence, this time on part the part of the Tahs kept the
score down. The Tahs only seemed to have attacking ball 3 or 4 times in the
whole game.
It looked like the Canes had run out of puff with 10 minutes to go as the
Tahs took the lead with a penalty. Unfortuntely for them, the Canes managed
a 50m penalty and then just dug in for the last few minutes.

There was really only one team in it. The Hurricanes hugged most of the
possession and territory and should have had about another four tries.
Tuquiri was dangerous but the rest of the NSW team was well off the boil.
Kaplan isn't a ref's anus.
