More welcome still if you turn up at the Forest of Arden.

(I've been to the Forest of Dean, once. I swear the missing link is
probably located thereabouts...)

How could I be so wrong :-(

Mind you, Forest of Dean is about half way between North and South for
Russ!!

Coleford GC, Forest of Dean is super cheap.
18 holes on arrival and day of departure + DBB
is £59 in the off season and, believe it or not, they
do a 2 for1 at this price for husband and wife.
Quite a nice, well kept course and good value for
money but not really special enough for the uksg
annual 'do'. Forest of Arden and Hawkestone seem
to be very reasonable and appropriate venues.

After annual trips toWales and Ireland in Spring,
with a group of my old rugby playing mates, I am
not usually in a fit state to join the uksg group
I do enjoy reading about them though and wish
Demetri every success in organising next year's event.

Ahem! I don't think being in a fit state or not can be an excuse and am
sure your rugby mates would not approve of you wimping out of a small
group like us lightweights ;-)
