I'm doing a project in the Sacramento area. I'd like to play some golf.
Weekend of June 3rd and 4th - either day. Name the course and our time
and I'll be there.
TIA

Well that leaves Dave out as he's been "accused" of living in SoCal a
number of times since RSG NW and hasn't replied yet. :-P

I thought that was SoCal also.

Oh I'm unquestionably in SoCal, but the NoCal elitists like to think of
themselves as superior to us heathens down here. :)

As a native Northern Californian, I have to agree. Draw a line at
around Fresno - I'll take the top and you can have the rest. SoCal - a
nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.
(Tongue somewhat in elitist cheek here, of course. There are a few
things I like about Southern California. The beaches, for one. I can
really appreciate the warm ocean water down south after swimming in
frigid waters at North Bay Area beaches. As George Costanza might say,
"I was in the ocean!!".)

Ken,
I assume you'll have a rental car? Peter and I may be able to meet you
in Fairfield (just west of Sacramento) on the 4th. There are 2 good
courses there, Rancho Solano and Paradise Valley. Let me know if that
sounds good to you and I'll see about getting a tee time.

Dan -
I have my own car. I would really appreciate it. Any course that is
convenient for you would be fine. I have fences to mend with Peter
anyway.
Please continue this to the gmail acct I use for posting. I will be
watching it.
Thanks again.

It seems like this thread may have gone to email, but if the plans
shift to the 3rd and a bit closer to the bay, I'd like to join.

Lou -
Looks like we are playing the 4th. As things are now, I will be in
Sacramento for a while. Maybe we can get a game together one of the
other weekends. You can reach me by email address that is associated
with my posts.
Thanks

Ken, while you are there, you should make a run up to Tahoe.
I really enjoyed playing up there. Ball go far.

That is definitely something I want to do.

Hope you guys have fun in Fairfield. If my game wasn't in the crapper
due to complete lack of play, I might've asked if I could join. I just
about completely embarrassed myself on last weekend's golf trip to
Scottsdale, AZ. Ack!

We had 39 players this year with stops at SunRidge Canyon (2nd time for
some of us), Grayhawk - Raptor, and Troon - Monument so, no, I didn't
run across any of your balls. Hehe. Funny thing is that I didn't lose
very many at all, yet I shot high scores at both Grayhawk and Troon.
Could be that I used up all my energy (and shots) at SunRidge the first
day because it was about 105 degrees. Of course, it's more likely my
poor play was due to having only played one round since last year's
trip to San Diego.

Jeff, my index has gone up 6 points since last fall, believe me, I know
embarrassment! :-(
