Played golf Sunday. Technically, I think it qualified as golf, although not
much about my game on Sunday resembled anything I associate with golf-like
activity. I did swat golf clubs at golf balls for several hours, so yeah, I
guess that qualifies. But it was sure not pretty.
On the 17th tee, one of the fellows I was paired with mentioned in passing
conversation that he'd moved here from Washington DC, and I responded,
saying that my son lives in that area. He said he lived for five years on
Capitol Hill, literally within walking distance of the Capitol. I asked him
if politics had anything to do with why he was there.
Turns out he worked in the Clinton White House. And get this -- he interned
with Monica Lewinski. For a short time, he knew her pretty well (I'm
assuming not THAT well, if you know what I mean).
I asked if she was as much of an ugly pig in person as she appears on TV,
and he said, "well, yeah."
There's no punchline to this story. Just another example of what a small
world we live in, and how you just never know who you'll get paired with on
a golf course.

I thought she was hot. If you think she's an ugly pig, how do you
keep your lunch down watching some of the LPGA players?

A guy walks into his house with a duck under his arm.
He says, "This is the pig I've been fuckin."
His wife says, "That's not a pig, that's a duck!"
The guy says, "I wasn't talkin to you, bitch."
Thank you, thank you very much. I'll be here all week.
Try the veal.

Thank goodness that old lie about good ol boys and the sexist treatment
of women is over. I am sure that the posters here are fit as a fiddle
as most middle age golfers are and are what every dream girl is dying
to find.

On the contrary........I feel that you ALWAYS know who you'll be paired
with on a golf course.
A socially inept, impotent, hair gel wearing, khaki panted, mama's boy
with delusions of normalcy.

About 20 yrs ago I was going to play Industry Hills near LosAngeles. As
I was leaving the shop heading to the first tee, who did I bump into
coming the other way? Alice Cooper! He had a large Ping staff bag with
Alice Cooper in script on the side. Must have been a long time before
his deal with Callaway.
Also, members of my former club. Doyle Alexander, long time MLB pitcher
for the Tigers, Rangers, Orioles, Braves, Dodgers and others. Eddie
Robinson, former GM of the Braves and Rangers. Both great guys and I've
played a lot of golf with both due to the nature of games at that club.
Small world indeed.

I like that old joke. Of course, it sounds a lot better when I do it
with my Andrew Dice Clay impersonation.
Wanna hear one from Deadwood?
Bar Patron #1: "I don't fuck Chinese. I got a mother living yet.
Bar Patron #2: "She the jealous type?"
Welcome to fuckin Deadwood! Try the veal.

Even smaller world.
First scramble I ever played in, my team won. (At TPC-Las Colinas)
BJ Thomas was on the runner-up team.
Let it be noted here that of all the scrambles I've played in, this was the
one to win, because our entire team received a new set of Hogan Edges (back
when they were the new rage).

Monica was never hot. But she was OK when Clinton was messing with her.
Then she gained up to about 200 lbs. Became not OK. Yeah, I know I am
not one to talk.
