Sid you're a wonderful man. Joe, I've chucked 'Slide' by Salmonella on
there. That's the one I was trying to send you last year with little
luck.
Play if forward, it will be great!
The other one is Damian Marley's Jamrock. Finally one of Bob's sons
appears to have inherited some talent. A rolling heavy manners tune for
the new century.
Finally, Tubb's 'Soul loves the Sun'. As I said to Joe, I don't know much
about Tubbs. He's a NZ'er and he has an album out called "Good days,
better nights". This is one of the singles off the album and got a pre-
release by Wellington's Capital Records. Basically it's el massivo, a big
bass washed paeon to hot summer nights. It's about 9 minutes long, I hope
you like it, a nicely loved up piece of sunful soul.
And apparently he did like it.

He's the best Sid I know.

Have you got the latest Pressure Sounds compilation Os? "More Pressure"?
Fucking essential.
Not as essential is the latest offering from Blood And Fire, 22 cuts of the
Congo's "Fisherman" riddim.......nice classic riddim but 22 cuts sends me to
sleep..... speaking of which, it's back under the patio for me to wake the
dead with some Turbulence.

Yep, already grabbed that, along with the Damien Marley track. I don't
think there's any others on there I don't have.
It's lovely, I like teh Salmonella Dub.

Forward? Sheesh. You could have told me that before I fired up Cubase.

I know this tune well, although didn't previously have it in any format.
Like it a lot, very big tune. I liked the remix that was very big a few
months back as well, Freestylers possibly.
All good stuff.

Yeah, sorry. I'm busy on those dates.
It doesn't look like it was meant for the likes of me anyway.

No, my regggae supplies have gone all Babylon in the last 6 months. I got
the Mike Brooks compilation from Trojan a few weeks ago though, fucking
lovely stuff.

Jeez Greedy, every 3 months or so you pop into view for 5 minutes and
then disappear again.
You're like the Milan Baros of UKSF or something?

No I haven't but I'm planning to hit my local video shop up about it over
the coming Winter months. It's definitely on the list but I wouldn't be
surprised if they just stared at me blankly. There's lots of nice shit
about living in small towns but access to great films isn't one of them.
I have watched a couple of reasonable films recently though so I might drop
a small filmic bomb in the next few days.
