Strictly speaking, I don't think Mikey is actually a lesbian. Sure,
they share similar interests.....women, a fondness for the furry cup,
women, stand up comedy, folky hippy festivals, and women, but he's not
about much more than just the sexuality he oozes from every pore...and
his hair is neat.

You mean the day the music dies?
As you know, pain and its associated horsemen have brought us some
fabulous tunes. Contented folk in a meaningful relationship have a
tendency to write soppy love songs. Women can sometimes get away with
it. Men rarely do imho.
From a purely selfish perspective, I vote that you keep on writing
interesting music.
