I caught myself watching hockey last night. I feel so dirty.
I called two all-ins with the better hand and lost. Now short
stacked, I went all in with the better hand and lost again. I
was annoyed for about two seconds.

The cloud that has been hanging over St. John's basketball for the past two
years finally has started to lift. Although the NCAA's Committee on
Infractions found the school had made improper payments to former player Abe
Keita * - a violation of the NCAA's "extra benefits" rules - it basically
let the program off with a slap on the wrist yesterday, placing the Johnnies
on two years' probation until May 2008 and hitting them with the loss of one
scholarship next season. The committee commended the school for its
cooperation during the investigation and accepted all the school's
self-imposed penalties, which included a ban on postseason play for the 2005
season and a reduction of one scholarship in both the 2005-06 and the
2006-07 seasons.
