| Callaway equivalent of the older 'FIRM' flex? [message #1002881] |

Hi all,
I have been using a Callaway Hawkeye VFT driver with a factory stock firm
flex shaft for the last several years. Been looking at some new Callaway
drivers and noticed they dont use the 'firm' nomenclature anymore.
Anyone know which current Callaway shaft (if any) would be close to the
firm that I'm used to?
A related question is how closely to Callaway's current regular/stiff
compare to other manufacturers (specifically Taylormade) ref/stiff ??
TIA,
Dan

I always found callaways' shafts to be a bit whippy. Why not call them
and ask about shaft selection?

Paging Mike Dalecki! Mike Dalecki to RSG stat!
:-P
If you call them, ask them what frequency the club is and how they
measure it. Inquiring minds want to know. Indeed, ask them what the
frequency difference is between regular, stiff, x-stiff, etc.
I'm betting they've got nothing to say on the whole topic. :)

Just a WAG but I'd be surprised if it was stiffer than TM's regular.
