| 10 K run and general fitness measuring rods [message #984671] |

I recall back in 2001 reading an article online (I believe it was on
Men's Health) that had all these measuring rods of a super fit person.
I met a bunch of them in the realm of weights... but I think my cardio
was weak relative to these benchmarks.
Anyone know whether that article still lingers online or whether there
is something akin to that.
I just ran a 10k run and was wondering how I compare to the general
population. I'm a heavy guy so I'm definitely not an "athelete" when
it comes to running, but I was just looking for some sort of relative
scale.
Thanks,
Novice

I think this might be what you are looking for:
http://www.menshealth.com/cda/article.do?site=MensHealth& ;channel=fitness&category=muscle.building&topic=tota l.body&conitem=c1f999edbbbd201099edbbbd2010cfe793cd____
It is titled: "A Fit Man Can..." and yes it was in Men's Health.
If the link doesn't work, just go to menshealth.com and search for fit
man and the article will be listed about 3 or 4 down.
