out of that lot, I'm saddest to see Hudson go. He's got a lot of
potential but just isn't getting enough first team time. Good signing
for Irish that one. I'll get mocked but I'm glad to see Balshaw coming
back.

Palmer is an interesting signing. He must surely have been promised
first team rugby to make the move. I wonder who'll be missing out?

Bye Catty. I thought you had another season in you, but fair play for
going whilst you're still playing well.

some big name clearouts there. Andrew has fallen out with Walder and
openly criticising him in the press, so not shocked to see him go. Time
for Charvis to call it a day? He can't seem to stay at a club.

Richard Hill - what a shame. It would have been nice if injury had
allowed him a testimonial.

We're, the supporters that is, pleased about Hudson but he's got a big
pair of boots to fill if he's going to replace Strudwick.

Hopefully Garvey will regain some of the spark he had early in his
career at Glaws. Not sure that Worcester's the best place to do it though.

So that's where Skinner's going.

That's a lot of players to shed when you're going to be in a Premiership
fight for survival. Irish were sad to see Worsley go and he had a
couple of England bench appearances so I wonder if there's more to that
story.

You sure Bryan? Hudson, Mapusua are known of. But the other two? I've
not heard a sniff of them.

Don't count Catty out yet. Negotiations are still underway for the next
season. He's still got work to do with our backs.

Perhaps the shakeout should be higher up. Apart from winning something
early on - Powergen? - what has Squeaky done?

If that last one comes of it will be a brilliant signing. Bergamasco is
an excellent player.

Hill as well? Not mentioned on any of the Sarries boards and there would
have been wailing, gnashing of teeth and chest beating if that had been
announced. I wouldn't be too surprised though.

Lensing has a good reputation in SA and was part of a great Bulls pack last
year. Indeed, if he was SA born instead of Namibian, I'm sure he would have
a Bok cap or two already. I'm not sure how he did at Leeds but in SA he is
certainly known as a decent prop.
