Hi - I'm trying to track down Federico Mendez, I've got an item I'd
like him to autograph from his playing days at Northampton. Last I
heard he was taking a post as scrummaging coach for the Springboks, but
I can't find any information confirming this, or any contact details.
Any information gratefully received.

He took the position, but I'm not sure if he's still there. You could
try emailing the Boks info service on their website.

He did not take the Springbok job.
He played for Western Province in the Currie Cup last season (and damn
well too)
Since then I think he has gone back to Argentina (to do his farming?)
Would guess you contact him via the Argentinian Union or failing that I
would guess the Western Province Rugby Union have his address

Interestingly, I got a reply from SARugby, to the effect that he DID
help out with the Boks, but refused a full time position. He may also
be helping this comign season, but they aren't sure yet.

Hi there,
Thanks for all your help. I've emailed him through the wine website,
but no reply as yet (then again I only sent it yesterday!) I'm also
waiting for a reply from SARugby, but as Martyn says he's not there
then I just await a reply.....still waiting for Garry Pagel to reply as
well.
