Brumbies v Hurricanes [message #983012] Sat, 22 April 2006 13:59

A game with strong defence and a hell of a lot of errors. Not many gave the
injury plagued Brumbies much chance but they really lifted whereas the
Hurricanes played way below their best.

Brilliant defence by the Brumbies, really killed off the Hurricanes.

Only complaint is that they appeared to hire an Italian soccer tactician.
Talk about time wasting antics. If 2-3 of them aren't carted off to the
local hospital ICU then the team should be docked their points.

You're being a bit harsh, Os. When you're being tackled by guys like Umunga
and Collins it's got to hurt. I don't think they were doing a Cheetahs
number, the Brumbies like to get on with the game more than most.
Cheers,
K.C.

Why would it hurt? They're not exactly the biggest or fastest out
there.... They may be the ones that go out to cause damage, I couldn't
possibly comment....

That's why I was quite surprised. And the defence was pretty robust from
both sides. What's the story with that last ankle injury where the
stretcher came on? That basically ran the 'Canes out of time for a win.

Not that they would've deserved it.

I thought Nonu's hit on Mortlock was the winner. I was surprised that
Mortlock survived it. He must be one tough son of a bitch.

scored his try brought it all back for me. Gotta agess with Bully he
is one tough son of a bich though.
