Good to see that it recognizes the modern definitions of "thole", and that
the definition Tholen always cites has been antiquated.

The rating is now "6 up, 1 down" - any guesses on who is the dissenting

Hey, that's wonderful! Now even *Tholen* will have to agree that he's
the perfect tholener!

Well one person has been on usenet since this thread was started, and another
has not.

At least one imitative Usenet poster has been OWNED by Nightingale
since this thread was started, and at least one other has not.
I'm rather fond of Davie Tholen. In his strange and somewhat
repetitive way, he adds more to the gaiety of Usenet than you do with
your one-string banjo. So why do you attack Nightingale instead of me?
Are you scared of me?

It's surely not fear. It's more like avoiding stepping in a big pile of dog
shit.

Yes, Bruce, now that its in a dictionary, its "official". I'd like to
see Dickless worm his way out of that.

When you say "Davie Tholen", do you mean Davie Tholen?

You erroneously presuppose that I have a one-string banjo.

On what basis do you believe that I attacked Nightingale in my post to which
you responded?

No, since I do not have any history with you.

urbandictionary.com is such a reputable site that a Judge actually cited it
in a court decision:
http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/story/240748p-20647 7c.html
"But, so far, the most prominent user of his site is a British High Court
judge, Kim Lewison, who cited the UrbanDictionary last year when ruling on a
copyright case involving rap lyrics."

You can't get any more official than that.

I wonder how long before others start citing this?

Why have you requested that your post not be archived, Mike? Even Tholen is

What you think about the definition is irrelevant, Nightingale. What matters

The definition that Tholen cites is *a* correct one, however, it is archaic.
