Kevin Garnett (Min) was named as the winner of the J. Walter Kennedy
Citizenship Award, as selected by the Pro Basketball Writers Association.
Ron Artest (Sac), Chauncey Billups (Det), Steve Nash (Pho), and Michael
Redd (Mil) along with Garnett were the divisional finalists for the award.

The NBA fined Jermaine O'Neal (Ind) $15,000 for publicly criticizing the
refs following Tuesday's Ind-NJ game.

Denver activated Linas Kleiza and placed Kenyon Martin (suspended) on IL.

New Jersey activated Peja Stojakovic and placed Jamaal Tinsley on IL with
a sore right Achilles.

Miami activated Derek Anderson and placed Jason Kapono on IL.

Renaldo Balkman (junior, South Carolina, forward), Ronnie Brewer (junior,
Arkansas, guard-forward), Aaron Gray (junior, Pittsburgh, center), and
Kyle Lowry (sophomore, Villanova, guard) declared themselves eligible for
the NBA draft.
