This isn't the UConn of previous years. I fear an implossion has
already been foreshadowed. Some are saying the 'Cuse game was just
another loss, no big deal - normally I'd agree, but I found it very
unsettling.

Why? Did Jaybird sink a hook shot to win the game?

If you want me to go on arguing, you'll have to pay for another five
minutes, "Jaybyrd" <jaybyrdbird [at] yahoo.com>!

Well, it's been a great run, but no way we got anything left in the
tank for Pitt. It's nice the Oranges are at least there to defend
their championship.

We'll just take our whuppin' and our 8 seed and slink back home.

Nice try. Of course we know they'll be two OT's and Jerry will sink
one at the buzzer from half court as he's fouled.

He'll need to be careful; that move can be a travel if he's picked up
his dribble.

There's no Hakim Warrick this year to deal with Krauser.

No, we're just fucked, I'm afraid.

You could insert about a two dozen teams in place of "UConn" and say
the same thing though.
