In that now legendary Stage 17 where he went from "finished" to 3rd place in
on ride, he at one point was going 22MPH.

Uphill.

On a 10% grade.

And was, at the time, leading the peleton by nearly 9 minutes.

I read an interview with Landis--from that, I was convinced I wanted him to
win. (After Bobby crashed out anyway) The guy is very down to earth and
*real*...and very much not like Lance. I'm glad to see him win one.
