Head butting someone in the finals of the worlds worst sport is worse
than being a coward, it's being a sore loser crybaby. I don't care what
that I talian guy said to the french headbutter, it's called trash talk, and
it's part of every game from checkers to the greatest sport on earth,
American Football, so deal with it.

No. At least he headbutted the guy who insulted him, a fascist like you, and
a well-known one too, and he defended his family's honor. I'll tell you what
being a sore loser crybaby is. It's the US attacking Iraq even though it had
nothing to do with 9/11, proclaim it has WMDs when it doesn't and lie to the
people in the process so that the US would look courageous, and trying to
make the people forget it never succeeded in finding the really guilty, ie,
the author of the attacks. Sore, loser, crybaby. You have it all. Plus just
plain stupid, believing the bullshit.

worth one million people like you.

Oh, don't start me on "American football". It isn't even a sport. I am not
impressed by "courageous" people wearing shoulder pads and helmets and
whatnot, interrupted by dozens of commercials. At least soccer goes for a
full 45 mns twice with no commercials. That alone makes it better than your
"football". Foot? They use their hands! That's actually handball, only
slower.

You mean the "sport" where the guys run 5 seconds, rest one minute, play
another 5 seconds, get replaced to breath some oxygen and wear 8kg of
kevlar armoury in order not to get bruised ?
Or you mean the "sport" where the winner's called the *world* champion
of the *national* league ?

If the Americans are good at contact sports, handling an oval ball and
scoring points by entering the end zone with the ball or kicking it
between the posts, next year's Rugby World Cup will tell.

If you want me to teach you your own language, I can do that. I wrote: "a
fascist like you, and
a well-known one too".

"Too" here obviously didn't mean "because you're well-known", it meant "he
is a fascist, and on top of that, he is well-known". I did say "a fascist
like you" and THEN "a well-known one too", I did NOT say " he's a well-known
fascist like you". Allright, dimwitted?

I don't know. Is that going on now? I hope you're admiring our beautiful
countrysides on TV. Come and enjoy them here, it's even better! 75 million
tourists can't be wrong...

And if you were refering to an american leading the TdF, then it's okay, we
are no narrow-minded flag-waving fascists. Even if american cyclists have
the money to prepare for the TdF and only that, all year round, never
participating in any other race, unlike the other racers (french but not
only!), we know that when a non american racer wins, he was doing other
exhausting races all year, so he is even more deserving. Bernard Hinault won
the TdF 5 times, but he won many other races, and big ones. Your racers have
yet to achieve that.

There are much better reasons for that aversion, already explained (see
above). As to tackling, we do it in rugby here, with no protections, no
helmets, ne shoulder pads, nothing. And no commercials. I used to play rugby
in high school. Did you? Rugbymen, when they see american football here,
just laugh their heads off.

Damb, I try to throw in a cultural/literary joke and....

I've played rugby, football, and soccer. Rugby is a kick-ass sport,
but the level of violence/intensity of hitting in football is greater.
I think there are two reasons....no blocking in rugby, and the pads are
as much weapons as protection. It's a lot easier to hit harder when
you're wearing a helmet and shoulder pads. A lot of people say "sure,
sure"...but I've laid hits on during football that would've separated
my shoulder/broken my collarbone/etc if I wasn't padded.

Come and play rugby pansies, come and play a fucking man's game instead
of your quasi-homo 'football'. You're all fucking laughable with your
shoulder pads to make you look like men and cock protectors to hang on
to the little you have. A load of old women.

OK, got it, pity it needed explaining, our fault sorry, but it is so
rare to find even the slightest bit of culture over there that it is
excusable that we didn't get it. Well done for knowing the play at least
(Cyrano de Bergerac for those who still haven't woken up) an absolutely
brlliant work. Best in French of course. Edmund Rostand the writer was
only about 25 or so when he wrote it, all in verse, and now it is an
absolute classic. On the first night he was almost spewing up with
nervousness, convinced that it would be a complete failure. They were
clapping for getting on for half an hour and quite rightly so.

We'll see what team USA's *really* worth at next years Rugby World Cup.

You're right in that rugby takes far more wind
and endurance, but you're wrong about thinking
padding prevents injuries. People hit each other
way harder in American football than in rugby.
There's actually a big problem of many retired NFL
players having permanent partial disability from
having played professional football as a career.

Nonsense, rugby is no more than a cult sport
in this country, so you can't judge American rugby
aptitude by performance in the World Cup. That would
be like inviting the French to participate in a world
baseball tournament and then claiming they have no
aptitude for the game when they perform poorly because
of never having grown up with the game.

Not only that, but the French team would throw down their bats and

Please tell me when you 'll say face to face to one of our rugbymen that he
laughs like a little girl. I want to be there to see what happens to you.!!!

Why, does the American team attack only smaller teams, or teams that have
been playing for hours and are completely exhausted?

Since you like historical allusions...

Exactly. That's why that kind of 'humor' is so popular with retards.

About Lance Armstrong:

People like:

.. Greg Lemond, an American, 3-time winner of the Tour de France, who
testified against him under oath.

.. Frankie Andreu, an American and former teammate of Armstrong, and his wife
Betsy, also American, who testified under oath that Lance confessed using
EPO.

.. Emma O'Reilly, an Irish physical therapist, who said that she helped him
cover needle shots with make-up.

.. Mike Anderson, an American, and former Armstrong employee, who said he
helped him cover up his tracks.

.. Dick Pound, a Canadian, head of the World Anti-Doping Agency, a
Montreal-based worldwide organization, who accuse him of having used EPO.

.. David Walsh, an Irish journalist.

.. And, yes, some French journalists, who had the guts to investigate and
report all this!

A worldwide conspiracy, maybe.

I don't see anyone arguing that rugby isn't rough......just that
football is rougher on a play-to-play basis.

It's still not. There's more interest, but it's probably somewhere
below the top 10 in interest and participation.

Agreed, but there isn't the interest or incentive here.

There are quite a few differences.....blocking, pads, the flow(rugby
is much closer to soccer in this aspect), specialization of skills,
etc.

Some of these are allowed in football...it's just hardly anyone
tries them anymore.

I think he's talking about actual quality of
the game, not who plays it the most.

There's a whole bunch of Irish guys here in
my town who have taken to going to NFL games
regularly. They all wear team jerseys, get drunk,
and whoop it up. They told me that once they put
aside their prejudices, understood it and got the
hang of it, they really thought it was a great game
to watch.

There's also a lot of American football fans
in Germany. Of course, it's only a cult sport
over there, much like rugby is only a cult sport
here.
