Because it contains sugar (rather than the electrolytes, which take too long
to be absorbed to be useful in a boxing match). I read an article from Flip
Homonsky on it a few years ago on SecondsOut.com that talked about Gatorade.
Thing is, though, I could have sworn Vegas began allowing Gatorade a year or
two ago.

Sugar eh. Well, maybe a shot of whiskey between rounds might spark up the

It used to be done, but that kind of stuff shows up on post-fight
urinalyses.

HAHAHAHAHAHA,...now thats funny!! But I think that Vodka would be more
effective.
