It seems no users has been played football...i can't understand all
this caos! Why? For what? During a match there will be probably 1
million of this cases (something more worse probably). The difference
is only that in this situation there was a champion (only with the
ball...) like Zidane...a violent, universally known as a cruel player
who likes to walk trough the body of other player (i.e. world
championship 1998).

France you have lost a match...but you are tryng to loose your face and
your credibility!

You're a joke. Zidane is nor cruel nor violent. Players tried to hurt
him all the time during his career, and sometimes he respond
innapropriatly. For example, that Saudi walk over Zidane during a full
hour (watch the game if you can).
Obviously you try to excuse Materazzi, a racist who'll play for Lazzio
next season, right?. We know what it does mean.

Maybe another petition to remove the World Cup from Italy for racist
remarks. Isn't FIFA against that as well as violence? It's not going to
happen.

There were no racists remarks . Whoever said that is lying. This was
prove . The details of this is available on many newsgroup and media
web sites.

Zidane's reaction has nothing to do with whatever Materazzi told him.
It has to do with his character and his psychological issues . I'm
sure he has more than one. Take a look at the report from bbc.co.uk :

"Zidane emerged as France's inspiration after a two-match ban for
stamping on Saudi Arabia skipper Fuad Amin in the group stages.

Skipper Didier Deschamps put his indiscretion down "to his
Mediterranean character, which he cannot always control".

A regretful Zidane explained: "'My nervousness and my conduct were due
principally to the pressure I have been under. I will learn."

He may not have learned his lesson but he was quickly forgiven and his
two goals in the final sealed the trophy."

The report is available at
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/world_cup_2006/team s/france/5165296.stm
and in that opportunity Zidane also claimed that his reaction was due
to a racists remark which I have no idea what that could has been since
they are both Arabs and both muslims, maybe one if more arab than the
other ...

As far as taking the cup away from Italy. I would have to say I'm
dissapointed at both teams performance and I would like to see them
play again. I don't think this incident will merit any action against
Italy as a team or should by any mean account for France lost, after al
the only goal they were able to score was for penalty, not the case of
italy.
